Great place to visit....plenty of open space....beach is incredible and goes on for miles...parking is £4.00 for 2 hours or £4.50 all day.

A beautiful beach and forestry area. Have been visiting for years as it's on my doorstep. Lovely scenery, views and walks.

Very nice country park. It felt calming just cycling on the road, and the roads weren't very busy. Cycle paths were also calming as not very much bicycles. The food in the cafe was good, skiing there felt good. Staff were friendly.

Such a good place, loads to do and lots of walks either on the huge beach, round the 3 marked routes or just with your own exploration.
The visitors centre was good, nice food offering, people were pleasant, however…I ordered the egg mayo baguette. After finishing I thought it was bad or gone off as I explained to my other half that I could only taste “creamy yellow”. We read the menu online when we got back and said “that egg you thought you had..wasn’t egg”! Turns out it was ‘vegan’ as it had a vg next to it that I missed. Yuck. Who brands EGG and MAYO as vegan. Please rename this to “Vegan creamy yellow” as this contains neither egg or mayo. This was probably my biggest regret of 2024.

Good family friendly park.
It has cycling, horse riding, adventure park, beach, bear trail. We did these things. Never exit the park if you want to do many activities because you have to pay for every entry and exit. There's a cafe and toilet near play area. All the areas are walkable and cycling trail is there. You can also hire cycle. Enjoyed each and every thing.

Absolutely amazing miles of massive beach, even in busy park times still you can find plenty of room to relax away from crowd.

We went to the zombie trail here. I got to say it was brilliant. So scary. Well done all the actors who scared us. Especially the crazy woman sawing up a mam. She was so so scary. Then the man with the chainsaw. It was Heart stopping scary.
